TISS conducts the entrance exam of TISSNET to offer admission into various M.A, B.A, M.Phil and Doctoral level Programmes. TISSNET 2019 Admission
Admission into TISS Campuses situated in Tuljapur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Hyderabad will be done on the basis of written test and interview. Candidates have to qualify both the selection rounds with minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission.
The admission of TISSNET 2019 will start from the month of February 2019. Candidates selected for admission are required to bring their original as well as photocopies of their required documents for the document verification.
TISSNET 2019 Written Test
The first stage of selection for admission into TISS is qualifying the written test (TISSNET). The written test will be organized in online CBT mode. The pattern of the question paper will be different for various programmes.
The questions in the test will be of objective in nature. Total time duration of the exam will be of 1 hour 40 minutes for MA Programme and 1 hour 30 minutes for BA Programmes. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The question paper will be of total 100 marks.
TISSNET 2019 Pre – Interview Test/Group Discussion
After candidates will successfully qualify the written test, they will become eligible for PIT & PI Rounds. In the PIT Round, candidates will be provided with two topics for Group Discussion. Candidates are required to discuss on any one topic and come into consensus.
The PIT/GD Round will be of total 50 marks. Candidates will be tested here to know their communication skills, teamwork, leadership quality and ability to perform under the situation of stress.
TISSNET 2019 Personal Interview
After the PIT Round, candidates have to represent themselves in the Personal Interview Round. In this round, candidates have to represent themselves before the panel of interviewers and answer some basic questions.
PI Round will be of total 75 marks. Candidates will be asked basic questions to know about their experience, communication skills, educational background and other skills.
Note: No PIT or PI Round will be organized for admission into B.A Programme. Admission into B.A Programme will be done on the basis of written test.
TISSNET 2019 Admission into various programmes will be done on the basis of marks scored in written test and interview round. Candidates have to qualify the minimum cut off marks to be eligible for admission into the Institute.
